MODIFYING THE INDEX ORDER IN SQUIRRELMAIL.

Step 1: After logging to the squirrelmail on the home screen, Click on ‘Options’.

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on the ‘Index Order’.

 

 

 

Here is the ‘Index Order’ page. These are the settings for which the columns of the messages index are been displayed.

 

 

 

Step 3: Modifying the column for the demonstration purpose.

Now here, Item listed at the top of the list will be displayed at the furthest to the left.

Where the items listed at the bottom will be displayed on the right.

 

 

 

Click on ‘up’ to display the item on the top.


Step 4: Click on ‘Add’.

 

 

 

Step 5: After clicking on the ‘Add’, Click on ‘INBOX’ to return to the inbox.

 

 

 

Step 6: Now, here you can see that the columns are ordered as per our preferences with the ‘Date’ column now on the left. 

 

 

 

Now you know how to modify the index order in the squirrel mail.
